Dr. Paul Banerjee
Medical Director
Dr. Paul Banerjee is the Medical Director for Polk County Fire Rescue, and is also an Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine at the University of Central Florida School of Medicine and Mercer University School of Medicine. Dr Banerjee was the Early Career Researcher award winner for the University of Central Florida School of Medicine, and was JEMS EMS 10 Innovator of the year. Dr Banerjee was the Head Physician in Superbowls 35 and 43. In addition, Dr Banerjee was named the 2012 EMS Medical Director of the year for the State of Florida.
Melissa Kauffman
Clinical Manager
As the Clinical Manager, Melissa has a solid background in the clinical setting. She has over 30 years of clinical experience managing critical care teams across the country. Melissa's expertise comes from EMS, Cardiac Cath, Emergency Room, Pre/Postoperative settings, and Flight Critical Care. My passion for preventive health care grew through windows of opportunity to care for the sickest patient. My health came into question early into my career as a young adult. Caring for some of the most complex patients with a passion for helping restore their health. Healing of the whole person was a vital missing link. Preventive health would have changed many, so many of their outcomes.
Melissa recently completed the CMTE graduate program and knows what it takes to have a team approach to a client's preventive health care goals.
I believe that a team approach is essential in achieving your overall goals.
Chris Luczywo
Practice Manager
For the past 6 years Chris has been the face of First 2 Aid brand, andhas been working as the COO on a daily basis. Since First 2 Aid, LLC he has founded Walk On Clinic and First 2 Aid EMS, Inc. Previous tothe Inception of First 2 Aid, LLC, he was a Firefighter / Paramedic for ten years and then left the fire service to become a critical care flight paramedic. During his time as a mediche has been responsible for the care of over 15,000 patients and has managed both ambulance and flight crews throughout the world. He also has advanced training in Critical Care Paramedicine, Incident Command, Safety Planning and Mass Causality Incidents.
